Abraxas: Realm
|
Take a seat. Have a drink.
Crane fashioned his realm to project the academic image he impresses upon others. Sunlight dazzles overhead as refreshing winds swirl around corners marked by hedges and trees. Flowers bloom and their scent carries on the breeze. Birds are chirping while leaves are budding on the branch. Beyond the hall is a old townhouse that is inaccessable to guests.
Crane is disinclined to entertain visitors but will accept questions. Guests are welcome but he will suggest they book an appointment next time. Clients can find him standing at the gate, working in his laboratory or reading in his office. The grounds are open to roam; people can explore but are restricted to the boundary. |

The Clinic
Comfortingly warm and scholarly with shelves burgeoning with journals and classic literature. Therapy sessions are conducted here. Armchairs offer rest and relaxation or visitors can lounge upon an antique loveseat overlooking a mahogany table. Three windows illuminate the modest room, while an ornate fireplace provides light and warmth at night. Visitors are inspired to feel comforted by a quiet and welcoming environment. |
The Laboratory
The building is closed at night. Visitors will find his office locked. Below is a caverous space with an old and industrial feel. Pillars support a vaulted ceiling and pipes and electrical wires loom overhead. The space is divided into sections for work and experimentation. Clapping triggers overhead lighting. Bottles are filled with an odorless and colourless substance, noted as the alkaloid of a local fungus gathered from desert soils. |
